Well, I told you guys I would have something else up! I loved the sketch and I decided to take a crack at her. She's...complicated for design purposes.

You see, she's a variation of our beloved and always killed Leomon who is obviously derived from a male lion and warrior. However, therein lies the problem: how to make a obviously manly lion have a feminine feel but still be edgy enough to not be a typical 'female' digimon. It's a tricky balance I find. I can't sprinkle everyone in tutus and dresses-that's not how all females are. Some wear pants/shorts or have shorter hair or have muscles. That's what I think makes me fall in love with my character designs. I take the norm and change it up.

So, here we are with my variation of Leonamon. She's the champion form of Elecmon in my story Digimon Tamers: Unity. She's very strong and has a perfect defence for her offence. Just like Leomon who has his fists, Leonamon has her feet to use in her attack 'Stomp of Isis'. Before you freak out-Isis is an Egyptian Goddess and protector-so no-I didn't base her attack off a terrorist group.

She has a red see through shield (I know it's orange in the sketch it's just the colour I used to draw her up). That helps her with battles. I might make that shield bigger...just seems a little tinier than I wanted.

Mane/hair was a nightmare. I didn't want to make her hair long and feminie-she's a warrior! So I settled with this for now. Kept the ears and added some piercings and gave her tail more bushy feel.

Anyway, I'm working on the line art. Toodles! Oh, and if you want to use go ahead! Just ask permission before using her.
