Well, woah. This will look incredibly bad if I don't offer an explanation. This is an illustration for Crown of stars , a Good Omens fanfiction that tells about the Apocalypse. I feel a bit bad about drawing the scene where Michael is killed, but he was pretty evil in the fic. Crowley was initialy the serpent in the garden of Eden, but has been stationed on earth for quite a while now. It was supposed to remind of those medieval pictures where Michael slays the dragon.Related content

I think you were thinkin about sain't george killin' the dragon, but no matter, I just read it, and you couldn't kill crowley, he kinda grows to your heart

Wow this is such an awesome picture. You've really got Crowley's emotions down pat on his face! This is really really good down to every little detail, including the icky blood flying out of Michael's mouth. Erk.

ok, i really need to read Good Omens now Oo one of my friends was laughing about it maybe a year ago and she said it was awesome.
And isn't Micheal the arch angel of war or battle or something like that? This is remarkable and VERY cool. Well done. ^^

Wow. What an intense scene. Are those wings the dying guy sports? Oh my gosh, an ANGEL is dying? That is so sad! And the look on his face - surprise, pain, hurt, etc. - is done perfectly. The guy who's doing the killing looks very evil; the red eyes really add to the effect. I like how you made the background dark and desolate looking; very good for supporting the dark mood. I wonder why there's an area of light around the sword that's piercing the angel's heart? Is it the angel's soul going back to heaven, or what?
Very poetic piece. Very expressive. Love it.

The lighting on his arm is amazing. The way you've made it radiating from his wound is very powerful... and the pose is so graceful. there's a real epic feel about this one. love the strokes in the wings and sky.

I love how you chose to place the lighting in this. And the layer-y blurry effect really works nicely for feathers!

Oh, wow. Feel a lot better now that I actually know who's in the image. Beautiful, as always! And you've got the 'dragon slaying' feel right down. Are those Crowley's wings on the ground? Love the light effect where the sword hits. Contrasting the darkness of the rest of the picture.

I think my favorite part of this is Crowley's eyes. They just show so much emotion that they stick out among everything.
I've never read Good Omens, but I'll check it out.. Who wrote it?

You create some very nice depictions of Crowley; it sort of elaborates upon his personality where Good Omens left off.
