It's right after they have liberated Griffith and Guts goes around slaying the guards to clear a passage for his friends until he's too overcome by the rush that he has to rest on his sword.

It's lacking the one where Guts is sitting and Casca's holding his head smiling while Guts looks kind of annoyed or bored. It was in book 12 I believe.

You know this is the kind of picture that reminds me why i love so much romance between a large, gruff, brutal warrior and a sexy, ferocious amazon.
It's always more interesting than the usual knight-rescues-the-princess thing. It brings confrontation, heated fights for domination (both physical and verbal) that leads to hot,passionate smex where both eventually accept the other as their equal.
And what's more, such situations also occur in real life, more than one thinks...

Yeah I'd never really consider Casca Guts' equal - she's tough, but definitely not on the same level as Guts in badassery...
But what you say is pretty true. Men like strong women from time to time, since the weak ones can be flighty and predictable and not particularly adept in the sack.

I said equal because Casca is not exactly "submissive". Guts himself said that it's the reason why he chose her as his lover, because she was able to fight alongside him and that he didn't like weak damsels who only knew how to pamper themselves. And when you look at it, given Guts' personality and temper, only Casca is tough enough to fit the bill.
