From what I have been reading from here is that Mary could've been older then 14 and Joseph at 30. Jewish men typical married at 30 to a woman 10-15 years younger. Jewish women typical married young, but who knows her actual age? She may have been 12-14(if she was then our heavenly father would've cause the betrothal to be put on hold for about 5-6 year,which gives Mary time to finish physically maturing), 15-17 or 18-20. It was Bablyon talmud that allows preteen/earlyteen marriage. I suggest you check out the sources.
