Description Everything seems remarkably grey today,
As though all colour has been chased away.
Out the window, monotone framed:
Crimson withered, emerald lamed.

My heart beats neutral and clear,
No vivid red love to interfere.
And in my head, where is the song?
Back in the closet where it belongs.

The radio plays precise silence,
The music robbed of life's torments.
I search for azure, for blue, for sapphire,
In the depths of the crackling fire.

Is it wrong to pray, a little bit,
That just maybe, this is it:
That growing up they promised me,
When it's not so hard, just to… be.
