For Azima's backstory. I may have mentioned an upcoming fanfiction called My Inner Freedom . I'm not sure if I should change that title or not. But that's up to me. After Azima's birth, Asani (the black lion in the picture) soon found out about Zahra's daughter with Kamari and this was most unsatisfying to Asani. So he furiously raced to the King's medical center where Zahra held her and Kamari's cub in her arms. Asani told her he was outraged how she rejected him in the past, married Kamari instead of him, and most of all, starting a family with him. He ordered her to abandon Azima, but Zahra refused. She was her daughter and did NOT want to leave her behind. Then Asani decided he would kill both Azima and her father, leaving Zahra horrified by the idea. And before the heartless black lion could strike the young cub, Kamari's father and King Kaizari had arrived just in time. Kaizari had to exile Asani to the Shadowlands. But the black lion swore he'd make Zahra his wife and claim revenge one day. But that's another tale for another time. Anyway, enjoy!
