A small drawing that I started home and added progressively to while at work during downtime.Dorgrim Thorbringer
Now Done! tons of thins wrong with it, but I was still very pleased and pleased enough to show y'all!

Wow, this is an amazing effort i tink. Theres a nice sense of dynamics in this. The lighting along with the details really speak to me too i tink.
The only issue is that seems a bit frozen. Probalby needs a bit of motion bluring to convey a sense of motion. Besides that I tink it might be too generally lit, considering the environment hes in.
Still its an amazing piece, definitely shows skill and effort!

If you like stories about dwarves, "The Dwarves" by Markus Heitz are just about the number 1 book on the genre. An absolute must.

Welllll... I stopped for a long time too. Hour-wise, that piece took 3 days to do.
But required me to spend many evenings. With things slowing down at work, I was able to work on it there as my 'standby' mode.

The background is a bit too clean/sterile for my taste (walls are sooo smooth 
Aside from that it came out really good! Cool action pose, nice colours and hey .. it's a dwarf!! (I feel like I've already written something like this on an earlier wip of this one

the pillar behind him could use a little more 'wear' and I noticed that his eyes arent level and look kinda weird. Some shadow work, while everything stands nice as it is, could get a little more love to look just right.
