Description
In the West side of Equus, resides the underwater kingdom called Aquastria. A home of Seaponies, Mermares, Octoponies, and Sirens with their ruler of Aquastria and God of the Sea: King Leo.

King Leo/Lord of Aquastria/God of the Western Sea
King Leo is a Sea Lion, some say he's the Aquastria's version of an Alicorn. No one knows where he came from, but he does come from a long line Sea Lions that ruled over the Sea Kingdom for millennia. King Leo has the power to control the currents of the West side of the Ocean while Queen Maui, Queen of the East side of the Ocean. According to history, he's the father of the three sirens called the Dazzlings: Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk. He loved his daughters since their mother died when giving birth to Sonata, the youngest of the three sirens, due to fatigue. He was a caring father and a ruler with his goal to keep them away from the Surface as well as keeping a peaceful balance between the two sides. It sadly did not work when a group of Kelpies (Primal versions of Seaponies/Mermares) attacked Aquastria with the three sirens retreating, with Adagio deciding to attack a small village the led to their banishment. This caused grief to the king, causing King Leo demanding for the one responsible for his daughters' banishment, with only Celestia trying to negotiate with the Sea King. Leo came to an agreement to let go of the pony's (aka Starswirl the Bearded) punishment, only if the ponies never to travel in the West side of the Ocean, to which Celestia abides. Leo and Celestia also came to an understanding during the negotiation that both lost their family in different circumstances with the two occasionally renewing the treaty to keep it from both sides from attacking one another. King Leo and Princess Celestia became close friends that turn into a family bond as "uncle and niece" due to Celestia learning Leo is much older than her.

And here's my (very long-winded bio) of King Leo. If you don't know who he is, he only made an appearance in a My Little Pony children's storybook where King Leo was supposed to be a sea-based lion. Though he looked like a fish with a feline's head plaster onto it. So I decided to make him a sea-base lion, where I originally wanted to give him paws, but I couldn't for the life of me draw them. So I decided to use the Hippogriffs version for his "paws" instead. And yes, I did add in tarbano 's Queen Maui to be part of the Chaon'verse though, I made her a "Goddess" of the Eastern Sea while keeping her as her title entended.
