Description Really late request for , I'm so sorry this has taken so long!
Well, this is Shiny's gorgeous character Ambilona (: I haven't drawn an unnaturally coloured horse in well over a year so this was certainly a challenge for me.. I've tried to make it a bit more interesting by attempting to make it glow a bit.. Failed slightly? Anyway, hope you like!

I've now got to start on probably my biggest project yet - a triple portrait request for a friend of mine in the style of the 'We Three Kings' painting - [link] - of his mare, his filly (Amber, the one I previously did a portrait of) and the filly's sire o_o

I've been thinking of doing another big War Horse drawing, I've started the lineart, but haven't found the motivation to carry on with it yet due to some really long Commissions

Just for headshots? You spend an awful long time on them Usually it takes me 6-7 hours to do a full detailed body painting

Haha, yeah.. I've been trying to get plenty of detail into them - I can sometimes get a little too perfectionistic (doubt that's a word) and spend ages on one little bit until I'm completely satisfied (': I really want to start doing some more full body ones.. May do one once I've finished (if I ever do) this triple
By the way, I really like this Orca work you've been doing recently! You don't see much Orca art around and it's really good

Aw thank you so much! I love drawing them, they're surprisingly easy to draw and are beautiful and intelligent animals. It's a shame I've never seen one in person though, but I hope to one day.

They really are beautiful - I was lucky enough to see some when I went over to America in 2004 and they really were lovely. Hopefully you'll get to see some in the future ^^
