ing IT*This may be a day late but I still want to celebrate Kirby turning 20.
I had a bit of a late introduction to the games unlike my friend but I didn't get my first video game until I was 10. But even then Kirby was and still is a really enjoyable character, and his games be they spinoffs or mainstream are very memorable and always a lot of fun (except for Avalanche and DreamCourse).
Happy Birthday Kirby. You're still the biggest of the Nintendo stars in my eyes.

But have you played Kirby's Deam Collection? You can race him. You never even thought that the crown was MANIPULATING him. Check his page on the Kirby Wiki and you'll see there's to what you thinking about him.

I own Kirby's Dream Collection. Β It's a lot of fun, especially with 2 Player in Super Star. Β However that race with Magolor is probably as Canon to Kirby's main storyline as Super Smash Bros is.
The crown MAY have been manipulating him, it's a possibility, but the slow clap following you defeating Landia hints that he might have been plotting something bad from the beginning. Β I've never seen anyone with GOOD intentions slow clap outside of being sarcastic or cynical. Β And even then, he hasn't helped Kirby out the same way everyone else on this page has in one way or another.

My first Kirby game was Kirby's Adventure for the NES. After figuring out that I wasn't supposed to jump on enemies, like in the Super Mario and Sonic games, I managed to enjoy the heck out of the game and the creative and colorful worlds that it had. The fact that almost all of its stages had names of food in them was a nice touch, too.
That said, from that point until this gen, I had a tough time getting my hands on Kirby games to play. Therefore, it's great to see the little guy get so much attention with his DS and Wii titles over the past few years, and even better that I can say I own most of them (Squeak Squad being the only one that has eluded me). Kirby also has the distinction of being my all-time favorite Super Smash Bros. character and probably my go-to guy if I ever had to get a win (except in Melee).
Great job on this, by the way! I love of simple and clean your lines are, and even though all of the colors are flat, they still look great. Nice to see someone give props to Kirby after all of these years.

Hehe, I was even later than you - didn't discover who Kirby was until I was 15, when Super Smash Bros. was released on the N64.
This little guy means a lot to me, because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have met you, Jon, Andy or any of the other fantastic people I know today. Or be making a movie, for that matter. This picture turned out great! I love the wide selection of characters at the bottom.
