With how amazingly rampant photo theft of cosplayers is, I don't blame him in the slightest. He took an awesome photo, he owns the copyright TO said awesome photo, and he deserves credit for it!

Did I say that the photographer didn't deserve credit? No.
I simply said that it's a shame that the text is so big and in the middle of the picture. Just my thought.

Honestly I didn't even notice the text until you said something about it. It kinda looks like a lighthouse off in the distance, so that's what my brain made it into. I had to scroll back up and look for it when I saw your comment.
I've known too many artists and photographers who lose control of their work because of theft. If it's not as obnoxious as a GIANT FRAKKING WATERMARK in the middle of the image (ala the default DevArt watermark) then I don't mind if the artist/photog puts his/her mark in the picture.

I think this is just as bad as a giant ass watermark and I get annoyed by it.
That's why I comment on it. Since the comments are supposed to be there so you can speak your opinion.
It's not just for boosting the artist and saying "great work". It's also nice to get some critique sometimes.
And my comment/critique was faaaaaar from mean or provocative. So honestly, I don't even know why you reacted on it and felt the need to start this "argument".
I stated my mind and I wanted to talk to the artist, not you. :I
If you had something to say about the picture, then write your own comment, please.  Don't start argue on mine because you have a different opinion than me.
