Belonging to this circle, I've seen images like this multiple times, it's not what I would consider original--but the capture is really beautiful and crisp. I don't think you even need the artist comment for people to understand what the image could be about. I love the way you've shaped the tape to look like neatly placed pasta as well, the other images I've seen often leave the measuring tape sort of chaotic. I like that it's so neat, it brings a sense of perfectionism to the image, and that feeling can be part of what drives people with EDs insane.
It's a really good capture, congrats on the DD as well.

I love this picture. The link you've made from food and to our waste lines is obvious at a glance. You positioned the measuring tape in such a way if looks reminiscent of noodles and I think that makes the effect all the more powerful for it. I like that you kept it simple so nothing unnecessary is within the frame. It allows us to focus on the message. Even the title brings the piece up another notch.

Both.
This is based on eating disorders, and no matter what, its always a certain amount they deprive themselves or overflow themselves with that is due to unstability of the mind that causes these dissorders.
Its always the fact that they have no 'control' over those dissorders as well.

This piece really caught my attention. It was easy to understand the message without the title and description. Seeing stuff like this means a lot to me, since I have been suffering from an eating disorder for quite a while. I never really talk about it but I find support in artworks like these!
