More dream-based art. Once again, replaced dream-me with an actual OC in case I decide to actually write something based on this. Also, I really hope the prince-doll dude doesn't look too young. I swear he's at least 17-19ish. Even though without the goatee he'd look like... 10. ><

So, the dream. I was living with this magician dude (looked about 40-50ish) as his assistant/maid type thing. One day I was going through some drawers of his stuff, cleaning and such. I found what looked like one of those Asian ball-jointed dolls (the ones that cost over a hundred bucks, I think) broken into pieces. So I took it out and put it back together, because apparently I know how to do that. Go me.

Anyway, I was not nearly as surprised as I should have been when he came to life and danced. (Yes I am that cheesy.) I dunno, magician's castle, I guess things come to life and do crazy shit all the time so maybe that's why I didn't think it was particularly strange.

I tried to speak to the doll but he couldn't talk. But somehow I deduced his name was Will. Don't know how I came to that conclusion but hey. The magician came and saw me talking to the doll and took him away, saying something along the lines of "Oh you silly girl. It's not /alive/, I just placed a charm on it to make it move. It's still just a toy." I knew he was lying, which surprised me since he'd been a pretty good employer otherwise.

I became determined to solve the mystery (yey adventure) and snuck into the magician's room at night (totally safe) and stole the doll from his dresser. And somehow figured out the doll was a prince but cursed. Kinda like the Nutcracker, or some versions of it anyway.

I don't remember much after that, but I'm sure I saved the day.

EDIT: It occurs to me that if I do write this story, I should probably NOT name him Will, because... Prince William. Yeah. >.>;;
