It is so brilliant of you to recreate this extinct animal! I have always wished they were still around and I could see a live one. This is certainly the next best thing!

Hehe, When looking at the thumb, I really thought it was an old photo. X3
I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked on it and saw it was a casted doll.
Awesome work :3

Lovely! And so real looking too though I do have a tiny little critique if you make another on. The muzzle is just a touch too short and a bit broad. Other then that this is remarkable.

I went to Tazzy last year, and in this pub in Hobart there were newspaper headlines on the walls showing reported sightings of these over the past 50yrs, i was talking to this old lady, and she was telling me that when she was alittle younger, her and her brother were walking near Cradle Mountain. The brother kept hearing soft "roars" like that a pup would make, and little further on, in the distance they spotted a mother thylacine with 2 pups walking through the scrubs. Other people were telling of the times they saw a few aswell.
The last KNOWN one died in captivity.
No one ever said about the last known one dying in the wildlife, so maybe a few did survive in the wild and they learnt to hide from humans.
I personally believe that they still exist :3
