Vision: Overall this is a might fine piece of art, it has that colored pencil glow that's somewhat hard to capture and the gentle strokes and details make this a masterpiece to look at. I particularly like what you did with her mane, ( I'm starting to sound like sweetie belle ) that neon blue and sharp strokes and curves. Another detail small detail I noticed is what you did with her back legs, the bony structure.
Originality: Tons of "profile" pictures of all the ponies exist but you've made that standard "2d" feel shatter with this piece. The green flames eating at her tail and mane just makes this a unique piece. Very nice.
Technique: The shading with the green flames is a little to "Hard" if you know what I mean, black is a very powerful color and you made great use of it in the bottom left hand corner, but its a little TO strong on the right. However, the shading in the mane is spot on! I also enjoyed the "See through" texture of her wings, that's a lovley touch that says artist cares about detail ( First impression on me is Very good e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
Impact: You have done a very good job at catching the viewers eye with this piece, but I can't help thinking this piece could have used a little something more. That "cherry on top" if you will to make this a memorable, and this detail could be as small as an eye glimmer.

Colored pencils for the win~!
This indeed is a nice design! The shading is really superb on her, especially on the main and tail. Even the flames have a slimy feel to it. A unique piece in many ways.
