I guess they stuck to the historic truth, where Pocahontas did actually marry John Rolfe, and as you may know, I am not much of an amateur of Disney sequels...

Oh dear I think it will take a while until my next drawing, it's an AU with game of thrones and Hans and Elsa in the role of the night's King and Queen- it is gonna be pretty dark and we will see an evil Elsa!!

Honestly your drawing got me in the mood to watch the movie so I watched it yesterday and I honestly had forgotten how amazing that movie was and how great the music is and how much of a ham meiko is XD I absolutely lover her! One of My favorite parts is when he holds out his hand for a handshake and she just stares at it and says "nothing's happening"

Oh gosh I am so flattered! I think I haven't seen Pocahontas even one time in the last 10 years, because the DVD is at my parents house and I haven't got it in my own house ( we just bought a couple of DVDs for Edoardo but it will take a while to make the Disney movies collection complete).

Ohhhh wow I love your enthusiasm!! I really love Pocahontas too, she is one of the bravest character in disney's history ( well in history to be honest, for the way she tried to make a peaceful connection with English people) and her concept design is totally fabulous, a perfect woman to my eyes. I love a little bit less John, don't get me wrong, I love his character but I don't like his face that much

Aw it's okay that you like John smith a bit because that's what some people said about his face but I completely agree with you that pocahontas is one of the bravest princesses. In fact I love pocahontas for 3 reasons
1. My nickname is Pocahontas because my family said I look like her lol.
2. I love her history and the part where she saved John at the age of 13 ( although some said it's a myth but still)
3. She is for me, the wisest of all disney princesses, because of that I fell in love with Disney and Helsa
But I really don't see why some people don't like her. I mean if it's because she left John at the end, then they should focus on the bigger picture that she is not selfish by staying for her tribe, doing her duty before her heart which is very tough. As a matter of fact, her bitter sweet relationship with John is one of the greatest disney moments that made sense because it shows that some people are not meant to be together forever because they took different paths, however they must not cry because it's over but because the happy things happened, and those things they did for each other would always be their legacies.

You know, i have never seen any Disney sequel, but i saw the movie "new world" by Terrence Malick, which is about the life of Pocahontas. I have always preferred them as a couple ( even though I didn't like how John treated her when she saw her again in England), it is quite apparent that I generally like couples with no happy ending

You're really lucky. I mean, you didn't loose much by not watching these sequels. Especially Pocahontas 2. Continuations made in different studio by different people... May have really strange result (even fatal). Though there were some nice ones (but not better than original movies).
Oh, I must say I haven't seen New World. But I saw Pocahontas 2 (it was the first Pocahontas movie I ever saw). As a kid I didn't undrestand much... But after I saw the first movie... And then the sequel after years... I realized how many thing I couldn't see, and how cheap and shallow Disney sequels can be. My mom didn't see anything wrong because it was like she said "taken from real life" (a woman falls in love with the other guy, the first love guy turned out to be a total jerk and she ends up with the new model, forgetting about the past feelings). Okay, it wasn't the main point of the story, but the others (about Ratcliffe's intrigues) weren't that interesting.
I also tried to read Susan Donnell's novel about Pocahontas but I stopped reading after she met Smith for the first time... And you also reminded me that I forgot to finish this book. xD
I suppose I don't have much luck in pairings... Most of couples I ship (except ArielxEric, TinkxTerence and... maybe some other couples I love but I don't remember at the moment) are not canon... Or didn't end happily...

Well, as a Disney nerd, I like to change subject from time to time and since I don't know how to draw kisses well, I want to make this series to practice; of course there will be a very passionate Helsa kiss ( and kristanna, Ariel x Eric, Belle and Adam - I would feel quite uncomfortable making her kiss him as a beast

He did actually marry Pocahontas. Rolfe also replaced Smith as her love interest in "Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World."

They're making a sequel to Frozen (an actual, feature-length sequel), so they may end up redeeming Hans and giving Elsa a love interest (but I'm not sure if they'll do both and/or combine the two).
