"How Stars Are Formed"

Some cats, after they use the litter box, do this really hilarious thing where they get all excited and run around like they've been snorting catnip. I've heard it called a bunch of things, the poop victory lap, the poop dance, etc. If any of you have cats who do this, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

As a very young kid, I decided there's a cat who races across the sky like that, and that's how stars are made. Does the cat poop stars, then? I don't know. It's one of those things that only makes sense when you're a kid. It was also a way to kind of cope with the grief of pet deaths.

So here's an ode to childhood beliefs.

(Starpooper would be a great name for a cat.)
