He's one of my favourite characters, even though he was sort of a Gary Stu (male version of a Mary Sue)

I think we can agree that Firestar was DESTINED to live as long as he did. I had hoped he'd live forever. Which he sorta did. I love and miss him to no end. Firestar is what can make me happy when I'm very depressed. We need a cat like that.

He wasn't my favorite, but when he died I couldn't help but feel depressed.

I like his hind legs, one in front of the other. I also like his tail, curled like that. But I love his expression most. It looks proud and noble, yet fun and happy at the same time, exactly like firestar.
I use to love firestar. All the joy, loyalty, love, respect, nobleness, pride, hatred, anguish, even his bad judgment! But in the later series, firestar seems like just any other leader, protecting his clan. He lost the individuality that made him stand out. The books focus on other characters right now. But it's not the same. Firestar is one of the best charecters in the series. I know it's stupid to cry, but I did. I cried just as hard as I did when bluestar died. I cried just because Firestar was no longer the leader I knew. I cried because he was no longer the main character, and I could no longer share his thoughts and feelings.
