wiki page: warriors.wikia.com/wiki/Turtleβ¦Look i'm kjnd of obivious and i didn't really connect her name meaning that she had a short tail. I figured she had the prefix turtle because of her pelt pattern. I also didn't remember anything that really talked about her tail being short. If i draw her again i'll probably change it.
she's from Dawn of the Clans in case you guys haven't read that yet. psst, i suggest reading it!

sorry, i've had a lot to do recently ;; i just had my last exam on Saturday so i've only been free a couple of days. no worries tho. i have Yellowfang done and the lines done for Thistleclaw, so i should have them up soon ^u^

There is a male cat that runs around my neighbor hood that looks just like this,(I know he is a male because he sometimes begs for food and he was friendly so my friend who is a vet, checked him) Β I think he is the oldest and is responsible for al the girl cats having babies. The other night I walked out into my drive way and I saw him standing with his back arched, in the grass, (It was about 6 inches tall because I hand't mowed yet) there was a yellow tabby cat, I assume it was a male, It was like charging him and stuff. He just held is ground and kept persistently protecting something, the tabby finally backed down after some unhappy chattering, and after he left I saw the alpha of the neighbor hood(the one that looks like this pic) turn around, towards me, and bend down into the tall grass, and he picked up a little kitten ,I'd say 7 maybe 8 weeks old, the tom was really big. And strong I guess cause it was a 2 month old kitten!. It was soooo cute, and looked just like him it was weird cause he ran under this really big bush that we have in our yard. I got a flashlight and shone it under to make sure he wasn't killing it, (that happens a lot so I was worried) to my surprise, he was laying in a makeshift nest, curled around the kitten. I had seen a pretty grey tabby going under that same bush for the last three months or so, and she looked really fat, then I noticed, (about 8 weeks ago) that she wasn't fat anymore and practically lived under that bush. I forgot to mention that the night before I witnessed the tom protecting the kit, I had heard a loud screech outside, sadly, when I went to check, ( Idk why I did, because where I live is infested with cats, and I hear fights every once in a while, but I can'y help but check on it). I saw a black cat running from my back yard and when I turned the corner there was the pretty gray tabby laying still on the ground, all scratched up 
Anyway, I have named the tom Tatteredsoul, because when I saw him he was protecting his remaining kit, like a warrior, and he is probably 7 or 8 years old, and his pelt looks like its torn and tattered because its black with golden flecks along it.Β
I hope he lives on and that one day that little kit he saved will protect their territory. I named the kit, Stitemkit, because Stitem meansΒ SurvivorΒ in Latin.Β

Ya kinda, but the kitten in said comment is now much bigger, and he patrols the neighborhood with his father. I think I'll have to come up with a warrior name for him soon. He is sorta friendly but not like a house cat, he is wild too. I love them both to death though. ^^
