This drawing was just an excuse to draw argyle stockings.Ink & Photoshop CS
I am such a geek.
Anyway, I couldn't find a good argyle texture on the internet, so I had to make my own. Here it is .

Man, I really love those stockings! The whole thing is simple, but I really love it. The pose, the outfit... could only have been better if it was drag. Ink and Photoshop? Man, those are some clean lines.

!!! ok, i'm sorry, but this was a great picture, that pattern is my absolute favorite for female sockular things, but i have thus far been limited to the 3 pairs i own due to my lack of knowledge of the name of said pattern... until i read your description.

Good job on the coloring and the pattern. Her outfit is pretty cool though the background is very distracting...but still a good job nonetheless...
