SkunkyArt | lithiumlilac — Fire Heart's Return [+Character Evolution]

The very first image of Fire Heart was a pony creator image, many of my early OCs started out like this. I decided to keep the freckles that I stopped putting on her shortly after the first few images of her, and her slightly curlier hair.

I kept the brighter colors from the rest of her designs, but one complaint I always got about her was that her colors were always too bright… so I toned them down by a lot and made them more harmonious with one another while still being recognizable.

Her black earrings/accents stayed because I love how it looks on her. Her last incarnation, “Ace Embers”, went really heavy on this. This last version of Fire Heart is so different because I was struggling to decide where to take her character next since she had stayed the same for so long, and for most of her existence I had a hard time figuring out exactly what kind of character she was. While this design is cool, it’s better for, say… a twin sister? ;) (Wink)

Lastly, her cutie mark had to be changed… it was exactly the fucking same up until Ace Embers, and the original was literally just three stock images mashed together. I had to make something from scratch for her.
