model: josie nutterbelieve it or not this is just about how this came out of the camera... it was a blue background blown out with a strobe behind the model.
i did very little editing or adjustment to this image. if you'd like to see it bigger buy a print

I love how her hair makes a bridal veil for her. In the thumbs, I thought it was a net veil, but it's just wonderful that it's her hair (a wig, I'm assuming). It works really well in this photo, the gauzy texture contrasting with her darkened silhouette and the feathers in her hair. Lovely work.

This is such a wonderful photo. Isn't is great when something comes out of the camera and it is perfect, just the way it is?
The way she is holding up the strands of her hair looks so much like a veil that at first i thought it WAS a veil. Now as i take a closer look, i reall can not tell whether it is a cloth or really hair. The wy that you have lit up the back ground looks like the sky, as if she is standing on some cliff above the ocean with only the blue of the sky behind her.

Though this one is called white magic and another is called darker magic, I believe that this picture should have been called darker magic. The lighting doesn't seem to fit the name in my mind. When I first read the name I was expecting something with a more brilliant radiance; taking many of your past works in mind. You're an excellent photographer, there's no doubt in that. I just feel you need to tamper with your lighting a bit more...

I like the overall lighting effect. It may just be dominated by white and light blue but it's still a very nifty eyecandy!
