Chibis are my go to when it comes to first getting a character on paper.

Anywho, this is Etienne Crown Prince of York. He's the eldest son to the Lord of York and heir to the throne (should his family win the war). Etienne gets the title Briar Prince from the roses that grow within his body thanks to Hanahaki disease. He's dying and fragile, but too stubborn to accept it.

Etienne and his whole family (hopefully I'll draw them eventually) embody the white rose and draw strong inspiration from the actual white rose faction that held power during England's Wars of the Roses.
