Description Steps for my finished piece- [link]

I slowed it down so you can see my steps better. Unlike other artists, I can't just start painting in the middle of the canvas. I always sketch things out, then I pick my colors carefully (no eyedropper grabs), and I proceed to put every color exactly where I think it goes right on top of my sketch. I tweak the proportions until they feel right, often flipping the image to catch anything I might have missed. The brush is everything. Without it, I couldn't paint this way.

This is wonderful. What brush settings do you use?

I actually just discovered a new brush setting today! Now I use two- the soft round brush and the hard round brush with opacity and flow jitter set to pen pressure. Otherwise you just don't get the build-up effect you would have with an actual paint brush. After I discovered those settings, painting suddenly became much easier.

Thank you for answering my questions.
I just started art school, and I am taking traditional classes right now. I want to paint from scratch in Photoshop instead of painting on top of photos and 3D models.
