What's this? Ashy posted some artwork!?
It's been a long time since I did any traditional work. I feel very rusty still but at least my confidence is boosted from this to finally finish of an art trade I've been dying to do. My inking skills are far from clean but seeing as I've only done it once before this was a pretty good effort.
Anyways, here we have featured my character, Glacia. I wanted to practice with shading hair so she was my first choice for this. I'm quite please with how it came out in the end here. This altogether took me several hours but I very much enjoyed the entire thing, especially the colouring c:
So I hope you all enjoy, and tell me what you think of this style and of my little icy lady here~

The traditional shading looks so amazing and the character here is beautiful with the stylish lovely hairstyle ! ^_^ The lineart is also very clean too.

People instantly think that a character with white hair and ice powers is an Elsa remake

Happens all of the time. One SMALL shared feature then boom, " that character looks like ____ " 
It's not like Elsa actually owns the ice power idea and white hair. And your character here has a completely different hairstyle from Elsa.

They do look similar in terms of color schemes. But that's about it. So, you're right 'bout that ^^

I would understand if she were named Elsa, or had braided hair, snowflakes, was pale and such, but she's not. I get that there a trolls out there who just recreate characters in different forms, which bugs me sometimes too, but she's a completely original character

You did very will with depth here. I thought it was Star-Wingz's for a second and that's a good thing in a way since she's really good with it.
Would she happen to be somewhat inspired from that character in Frozen?

She was one of a few traditional artists who gave me the inspiration to finally do something. As well as a few others around here that I've been watching for years.
You could say she is somewhat inspired by Elsa

Oh my goodness me!! 
For someone who claims to have not done much of inking, this one is just downright pretty. I like how there are some variation of thickness on her fringe, and how it appears very smooth as well... if I didn't zoom in for a closer examination. Her eyelashes (or was it eyeliner...?) are what I find the most prettiest of details about Glacia, to be honest with you. It's strange, even for myself to consider, but mayhaps it's something to do with tiny details that I just can't get enough of!~ Excellent work here, my friend!~
As for the character Glacia herself: I like how she has a somewhat tanned (I think?) complexion that she has, combined with that snow-white hair of hers and those icy blues of her hairband, her top, her eyelids, and her irises.

I can't make clean lines like many other artists do, but I guess that comes with time and practice I suppose. I've looked at several artists and how they ink their works, so that has helped to some extent as to how I wanted to go about doing this piece
Yes, I tried to get as close to her colour as possible, but yes she is a tanned sort of colour

Haha, looking at my own traditional drawings, you're most definitely right. Then again, I heard that they use a certain kind of paper to prevent the ink from blotting the paper whenever we're holding it on the same spot. Or was it a kind of ink pen that they've used...?
What can I say? c; I like small details. Same goes to anyone else who just can't help themselves but to examine every little detail.
