Hiya! Saw you uploaded a few cosplay images lately. I clicked on this one, and it's good to see you mentioned "Otherlands' in your description.
However, I would like to correct something. The user "Alice Liddell" doesn't run the Alice Wikia, but she is affiliated with them. I've spoken and asked the question when I first met her, and I already spoken to the only two of three users (LiaSakura and Ghostdoe) and they clarified their partnership with "Alice Liddell". She doesn't edit on it, but frequents it and is affiliated with them. I thought I should clear that up. Bye!

I already know that about Alice Liddell (the page has a group of Admins that run two FBs--the page there and a page just for the Wikia--a YouTube archive, and a Tumblr), but I can clarify that up now! I've been following them since they started and even volunteered as admin (they haven't yes or no yet; only that they're still considering).
And I promote Otherlands where and when I can I'm a huge supporter and promoter of it, and I feel it's my duty as a fan and runner-up to spread the word and encourage people to purchase the shorts (too many people want to just download leaked copies which is very upsetting... )

Oh, yeah, by the way... I went by her Facebook page and Tumblr again. Are people still raging about that "Woolfe"? I saw the trailer two days ago, and went to the video posted IGN. I even saw a tumblr post that belonged to you about it. I must say, I was surprised to see Alice's face on that main character girl in "Woolfe", and I can't help but feel that they stole it. I hardly think anyone think it's a coincidence. 
I agree. So disappointing that people want to download leaked copies...

Oh, yeah! That's the post I mentioned before! I read it, and I agreed with what you said. But I don't think it should affect Spicy Horse negatively, considering it's not even their product. Futhermore, I read some comments on YT about it. Fans don't really seem to be responding to the trailer well.

I've noticed that. I don't know if I'll buy the game or cosplay Red. Time will tell. For the moment, I'm still trying to figure out if I'm angry at Woolfe or support it.

For me, I'm neutral. It doesn't really look very appealing to me. And as a decent human being, raging over it won't do anything, so there's no point of getting upset.
I'm actually worried for Spicy Horse and Mr. McGee. The "Alice" fandom doesn't seem happy about it, and this will (probably) reach Mr. McGee's ears before too long. The folks over there are stressed enough. Hearing this and thinking what everyone else is thinking is just going to worsened their health. They're working hard on producing "Otherlands", the last time they need is to file a lawsuit for this. Lots of fans think they should sue.

Suing wont do much since the game rights belong to EA, not Spicy Horse. And I've thought about asking American McGee's opinion, since I'm friends with him on facebook (not personal friends... he probably finds me to be another fan girl. Hopefully someday I'll be established enough that I'll be seen as a professional acquaintance), but I don't think he wants to be bothered with stuff like that. Besides, I'm sure he knows about it. If it becomes enough of an issue or enough people bombard him about it, I'm sure he'll share his opinion (which, again, could be offence, flattery, indifference, or something akin).

It'd be interesting to hear his opinion. I almost emailed him about it, but I decided against it for obvious reasons. He's too busy to deal with stuff like this right now.

Well Woolfe contacted me personally about the whole ordeal. I am still skeptical, but I apologized (I'm not sure I needed to, but it felt like the right thing to do). I don't want to be responsible for our Alice community looking bad. And after looking at some of their behind-the-scenes work and their taking it upon themselves to confront the tension in an elegant manner, I am much more supportive than I was previously.

Hey, by the way, may I ask you something? Seeing as you have a Facebook and know about the official "Otherlands" official Facebook page, have you (or anyone else you know) tried contacting them and asking them to post some of the latest update from their Kickstarter on its Facebook? The last one they posted was from February, but they never updated it in April when they posted the one labeled Eyeballs, Tentacles, and Monsters . Same goes for their Twitter. I find that kind of odd they only did it on their Kickstarter, and not their Twitter and Facebook in April.

I asked McGee personally. He said he appreciated my volunteering to be an Admin for the Otherlands page, but would rather people go strait to the kick-starter site. I also found it odd that they haven't updated their FB or Twitter with it, but I suppose those are his wishes, and I respect that. ^_^

I can understand that. It would be better if people go straight to the Kickstarter site, but a lot of people are so lazy. I read comments on Alice Liddell's YT, and people keep asking her such simple questions, like who voices Alice. Stuff like that can be found by going to the Wikipedia. It kind of annoys me, actually.

I have mixed feeling about Woolfe. Part of me wants to go Hysteria Mode on it, but I realize I was being unprofessional and decided to look at it in a new light. Ultimately, it is up to Spicy Horse to decide how they feel on the matter, be it upset over appearing to be copied, flattered over being an inspiration, or indifferent.
As for Otherlands, all we can do is promote and hope for the best! Having faith is key! <3

Oh, I am very devoted. I was in hysterics (as in actually sobbing tears. no exaggeration. friends had to come and comfort me.) when I learned about the Otherlands' Cosplay contest. Although I lost to the beautiful Pandora Box, I hope to still be the official Alice some day. (And it's probably a good thing I lost since I wouldn't have been able to go to China :c ). It's the only work besides my own that I've ever felt this level of passion for ^_^
