Likewise, likewise. What's sad is that the 2013 reboot has now spawned a sequel, which will probably be another installment of "be a plain, miserable and whiney chick calling herself Lara Croft for some reason, kill 9000+ rapey dudes while going from point A to point B" instead of "be a confident and sexy original Lara, carefully explore and discover immense, beautiful and challenging environments while occasionally engaging in combat".

What also sucks is that Lara's classic origin story (plane crash in the Himalayas and subsequent solo survival) could have made for an amazing exploration/survival game. Survival games are all the rage these days, surely it would have made more of an impact than a half-assed actioner with a cast of cartoon caricature support characters.
