My impression of Bluestar from Warriors. X3 Not a huge fan of the series, but some of the lady cats are very beautiful. Bluestar, Silverstream and Spottedleaf are my favorites.I tried to use realistic lighting and shadows for this, bounce light and everything.
Done to test out Camstudio, so there might be a speedpaint for this.
Btw, the trees in the background are actually a blurred photo I took. I didn't want to draw treeses.

Whoooaa. I'd better submit this before it looks really really old. I drew this somewhere around April 20th, sooo. I'll post a journal if I put up a speedpaint.

I can only draw them like that because the neighbor has outdoor cats who try to get into my house. XD I study them.

I'm no teacher, but my best advice is to watch cats. If you can't get a real one, look up some on Youtube. (Plenty of that!)
For me, one of the hardest parts was recognizing how a cat's nose bridge is shaped. I don't know why. lD Also, their bones are super thin. They're like bird-bones or something. Cats don't have much muscle or fat in their legs and paws. They have lots of fluff on their butts. XD It's fun to draw. Their tails are uber-expressive, they follow the movement of the cat.
Ok, there's your summary of cats. Not sure if that's what you wanted, but I'm getting more and more confused by the second, so I'd better stop typing.
