Description This is my Dad and Mom cosplaying as Jiraiya and Tsunade from Naruto ^_^
Both these cosplays were sewn by me and the props were made by my dad

We recently all went to a con and went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner but they didn't open for another 30 minutes, so we took some pictures to kill time xD So here's one of many! ^_^

(By the way, I was cosplaying as Haku, so no I didn't match them xD)

yesh!!! my dad is juss not an anime fan but I think he feels left out going to a convention specially when we dress up. XD I know my brother was walking around seeing everyone and was like "I could have worn my gi and fit right in."

your parents are awesome! And your costume skills are fantastic. I wasn't into anime until I went to college, so my parents never really cared (but my mom will help when I have sewing issues making a cosplay). But now I'm a mom and take my kids to conventions and we all dress up together. Last year we did Ibiki, Iruka and the kids were team 7.

Oooooh thank you so much! I try really hard on all our costumes and I've never really had any training whatsoever. I just kinda do trial and error mostly xD
That's so awesome @__@ I think if I ever have kids they will be forced to cosplay because I think tiny cosplays are so cool xD

all my costumes that I have made are trial and error too. I had the most fun making my daughter' dress and the previous year, making my youngest a Kon (from bleach) costume.

i'm a procrastinator, but i seem to do the best when i'm a week away from my con (even if i started working on it 2 months before). so i am always surprised when it turns out.

That's exactly how I am. My dad gets all his props done like right away then he gets on my case about how I'm gonna be so stressed but I just can't bring myself to actually work on stuff till it's almost impossible to get it all done xD
