It sure did! I don't know how many drawings I see that don't get there personalities and it's a rare treasure to find one that makes you go ha! THAT'S batman or superman!

in most Batman/Superman cartoons I've seen (usually the older ones) their body structures were pretty much the same and that seemed very boring to me. I loved their looks in the new Batman v Superman movie though, that's where I got most of my inspiration from.
