Plus, it's kinda fun when in DA2 Bodahn mentions that Hero of Ferelden makes wonderful queen for Alistair... But then Merril says she saw Mahariel at the market... And then my imagination goes on, trying to figure out what the hell she's doing in Lowtown. I bet Varric has a perfect story that answers all questions.
