Referenced from the image used as the cover of Vylet Pony's Locus Room music video on Youtube . I missed the tone of the piece pretty hard, but considering how complicated it was, I am happy with the result. I was also able to record the full process from sketch to final touches (video )! In-progress lines here .

The characters came out exactly as I was hoping. I like how they sit in the colour space as going into this I was very worried about having enough shading control with my pencils. Unfortunately I really dislike the background. Not only did I accidentally swap which panels were supposed to be open vs wall, I also butchered the rocks.

Overall this piece took 14.5 hours over about two months. My butchering of the rocks drove me into starting another drawing immediately after, which I'll post shortly.
