Fuck me this took ages
And if I take any longer on it, I'll never finish it. I've already spent too long on one thing today and ended up hating it, and I don't want to do the same with this.

This is a commission for my dearest Engi. ~Catgirl426 , I bloody hope you're pleased. <3
She has her own character renditions of the almighty deity and his counterpart, the underlord. These fellows are called G.D. and Stan.
I was originally going to do a piece with both of them, since... contrast and all... but I never ended up with a composition that I liked, so took only one of them on, instead. Gore (there's only a bit here I guess) was also requested, so I went with Stan.
And even that was planned to be terribly complicated. There was going to be a real complicated background with lots going on, though I decided to dumb it down until I got this.
My dear loves skeletal dragons. ...I guess this is a zombie-like dragon thing in the background, but it's close enough.
We also have a little 'joke' if you will that my character Bill would end up being a horrible-looking, bottom jaw-less kind of pet that Stan would keep.
Bill was fed. I guess that's why there's still a bit of hand there in the foreground.

In any case, I'm pretty pleased that I managed to finish a picture. A FULL PICTURE.
I'll be dying to nit-pick at the little faults here and there sometime in the future, but for now, everything's a step towards improvement, right?

GOOD DAY.

I kid, I've been watching its steady progress from sketchy joy on photshop right down to the last touches, and I must say I am utterly astounded by the amount of effort you put in~ I gave you a simple request with no exact specifications and you made what I (and quite a few others) would agree is a mini-masterpiece in itself~ You captured his cocky personality perfectly, and I especially love the little cracks on the floor with small bits of fire coming out.
The dragon in the background also looks awesome- a mixture of skeletal and demonic. Someone knows what I like ;D!
Dead Bill wolf. What more can I say? His blood stains are immaculate, and well placed might I add. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THAT SEXY SHADING- GOD I'M GOING TO GET FLUSTERED JUST LOOKING AT IT *swoon*
You may see tiny faults, but to me, it's flawless, and definitely worth the money I'm paying~

Funny, I just went over the WIPs... even I'm fascinated at how it's progressed. I guess you don't really notice it if you're working on it yourself.

I'm so glad~ It was an absolute pleasure to do this for you, really. I was excited to finish it, and I'm pleased with the result as well. SCORE. I'm glad I captured that cocky grin. They're fun to draw, indeed. Those cracks and the light leaking out of them was fun, too.
And that dragon... it was going to be all bones, but there was enough of that in the chair, and the picture might have seemed bottom-heavy. So I added some yummy flesh. <3

...You know, I've love to have a print of this and have it as a door poster. Beats a "KEEP OUT" sign any day!

this is fabulous. <3 The colors you use in all of your pictures; where did you ever learn how to create such beautiful effects? I can never make any unnatural colors look good on people when i draw them.. :I It's a real pain in the backside, really, because it makes my compositions look stoopid. ( that is, when i actually have time to draw a full piece. Stupid school taking up my time.. )

I feel like I've cheated, because I got the entire red/warm overlay and glow in Photoshop. OTL
All colours are natural! I suppose it just depends on the environment that your person is in. Paint that background some kind of colour! Things likely look odd for me if they're on a white background.
