a quick aerotheria post i had lying around...

the silver-backed blackbird is the north american blackbird species. it is practically like any other species of blackbird; oportunistic carnovore that eats fish and other coastal wildlife it can get its mouth on.

i drew one flying over the california coastline here, alongside a white pelican. this guy, if you look at his tailfin, has been tagged for research and conservational reasons. i also drew a baby and the eggs they lay. because on top of being creamy-white as hatchlings wasnt enough, blackbirds also lay bright blue speckled eggs, which the eggshells are highly prized by the rich and wealthy.
