This is the sweetest Makoto Chiaki piece ever! I really love the style and the colors! I just saw this movie, and I couldn't agree with you more its probably one the best animated films out there. The backgrounds were what really capture my attention not to mention the characters. Again a beautiful tribute to two great characters!

i love the movie on dvd xP its very new come out and as got the old manga aswell who as made it, its caled origin which is awesome aswell, but it can't get better then this really manga! i love it and i keep watching it >: that how sad i am, its so cool art work and its fall of awesomeness, this is my fav art of the movie.

D'Aw! They're so cute!! ^__^ I saw this film recently, and was very pleased with it. up until the very very end where they should have kissed, and Chiaki should have stuck around a bit longer. TT3TT sadness... It was so good, though! the animation was sharp--real natural/casual movement for the characters--I thought the acting was well done (in the english dub, at least... ^__^; ). It was quite enjoyable to watch.

Viste Paprika? Tanto Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo como Paprika están basadas en dos grandes novelas de Yasutaka Tsutsui (bueno, TokiKake no exactamente, la película es más bien una segunda parte de la novela

Cuando me puse a buscar algunas fotografías de cielos y "cumulonimbus" (esas enormes y hermosas nubes que se expanden "a lo vértical") de referencia, para que mi cielo no se viera tan irrealista, me encontre con unas fotos taaaaan bonitas de cielos: me he enamorado, definitivamente

me encantan las fotos de nubes, en mis favs creo k tengo algunos... son tan relajantes y es mas, te sientes con ganas de volar y ver ese horizonte infinito lleno de esas esponjosas y blancas nubes bañadas por la luz del sol... como si algo bueno e inesperado fuera a pasar...

Es que si lo agregaba, convertiría esta imágen en... una de dos: Un "trio" (lol, esos no son aptos para el "público general", if yeh know what I mean ;D )... o lo volvería un "mal tecio" (ahw D: he'll feel lonely and gurlfriend-less).
Yup! Si lo notaste, el estilo esta rarirllo xDD Es que en cuanto comencé a colorearlo, me propuse intentar algo diferente... en principio, regresar a la vieja técnica de linearts lo más limpios posibles, y... utilizar "flat colors" (ya sabes, primero rellenar del color, luego preocuparse por el sombreado xD). Quería que se viera liiimpio, como esos bunitos fanarts que ví en Pixiv =3=

I am so glad I have found another person who thinks this movie is like amazing!
It's just so beautiful.
I just love the realistic perspective of the typical Japanese high school student, and yet the whole unrealistic element added to it.
Anime at its best for sure <3
And the relationship of Makoto and Chiaki is nothing less then fascinating. It was a shame they didn't really get together... Ah well.
Love the movie, definitely worth the money.
