Helix’s element is incredibly versatile, both offensively and defensively. Offensively, he can bellow or scream: whatever is in his path will be physically disrupted by the sound waves and the sound itself can cause his opponent intense pain or rendered them incapacitated. The louder his voice, the more painful it can be to an opponent.The physical damage is caused through sound waves, blowing through concrete and stone with ease or blowing back an opponent with physical force. However, the louder he gets, the less control his has, and it can inadvertently affect teammates if he is not careful. He can also hurt himself by straining his voice if he screams too long or too loud.

Defensively, Helix’s voice has several uses. The most powerful is what he calls Trance. In simple terms, Helix can use his voice to put enemies into a lulled-state. To an opponent, it will feel relaxed and like you're floating. It's like a dream that you can't wake out of.

He can also use his voice to mimic other creatures or people: sounding like a teammate or a large dog with precision to disorient. He must have heard the particular sound to mimic it.

While his element is powerful, it is with limitations. If an enemy cannot hear, or if they plug their ears, his Trance will not have the desired effect. Similarly, it is an element that can be hindered if used too much, and can cause pain to Helix if his voice strains. Once his voice is gone, it will take some days of rest and tea to gain it back.

♦ Weapon: Amplifier: Sonic Boom
♦ Weapon Use
Sonic Boom is a glorified megaphone that helps Helix amplify his voice. When using his weapon, he can project his voice to be up to three times as loud as his normal speaking voice. For close enemies, this means the effects of his voice are then amplified, leaving the enemy to pass out from pain or totally deafened by the sound. This also helps to avoid training his voice. Sonic Boom also helps him for range, disarming or disorienting enemies who are in hiding or at a distance.

Sonic Boom can also hold several 'shots' within it. The weapon is able to record Helix's voice, store it, and shoot it out later with the same amplified effect. Although there is no real limit to the number of shots, Sonic Boom can only hold ten seconds of recording at a time, which means Helix can either have 10 short shots to disorient or push an opponent back, or he can hold and have one, long attack to really hurt or incapacitate an enemy.

If all else fails, he can use Sonic Boom as a glorified hammer.

♦ Personality
At first glance, most people notice Helix’s impressive height and unsettling smile. The pointed teeth and ears can make him seem inhuman, and his untamed mop of black curls give him several extra inches on his already tall stature. As far as first impressions, he can come off intimidating and stoic, perhaps even a bit affluent. He is generally quiet with strangers, overly polite and The intimidating factor is mostly due to a sharp gaze of piercing gold eyes that stare and make direct eye contact.

Despite these initial impressions, once you get to know the teen, Helix is near the opposite of what most people take away at first. Although he can internalize a lot, by nature he is very open and trusting, confident in his own skin. This shows in his choice of fashion, which is always impeccable and clean and well cared for.

Life teaching music left him with incredible patient, even when a situation is trying. He had mastered the calming voice before ever having an element, and his booming shout commanded attention far before he’d lost his heart. Although he enjoys teaching, he is also a kid himself in many respects, and college life embedded a sense of risk-taking and fun-making. Helix can be incredibly playful once he feels comfortable with another person, and isn't above making jokes or playing pranks.

While he is incredibly even-tempered if there was one thing that Helix very much fears, it's losing his temper. Back from the days where Predators went 'savage', Helix still harbors some of these fears of losing control. Although he is generally chill, he is a bit faster to lose his temper now than he was a Somebody, thanks to his last few moments alive. When he does get angry, it is better to stay out of his way until he calms down.

→ Helix is protective. It's hard to rid himself of old instinct, and he treats the Org, especially those close to him or anyone smaller than him, as part of his pack. This protective streak can be fierce and terrifying if someone gets on the wrong side of it.

→ Hates vegetables, and if he’s forced to eat them he’ll gag.

→ His teeth are far more pointed than a normal human, and his canines are considerably larger. His ears are also slightly pointed.

→ Takes fashion very seriously.

→ Despite his element, he’s relatively soft spoken.

→ He's sensitive to thunder.

→ Has excellent vision at a distance, surprisingly near-sighted.

→ Sometimes will be barefoot if he's stressed or anxious. He never wore shoes as a wolf and it's somewhat calming for him to feel the ground.
