I just, my heart, my feels, I love the conclusion of Change Your Mind, it was so nice and so I drew my favorite sceneSpoilers ahead cause I'm gonna ramble...

So like Steven has always had this need to figure out who he is, like is he his mom, is he Rose Quartz, and he's always looking to the Crystal Gems for validation and while it was hard for the gems to accept that Rose is gone and now they have Steven, it was like a billion times harder on Steven cause everyone was expecting him to live up to Rose's example and whatever, and then he finds out that Rose was Pink Diamond and now he has to figure out if he's Pink Diamond. But in change your mind the climax and conclusion revealed that inside his gem, it was him. There was no one else hiding in there. It wasn't Rose, it wasn't Pink, it was Steven. Steven was himself the whole time. And I think that's the best part about this whole conclusion.

The scene from when Connie places Steven into the arms of the pink diamond to when Steven re-fuses in-front of White was animated by James Baxter, a former Disney animator. So if you're wondering why that scene looked so Disney-esq, that's because it actually was animated by a Disney employee, lol.

Yeah I thought so! I was actually getting some strong Winnie the Pooh vibes when I first watched it, I'm really glad they switched to frame by frame animation for that part, it really made the scene!
