Anyone can 'take' a photo. not so many can 'see' a photo. You did both. First glance and I thought 'angel's wings'!

Maybe not 'original' as you put it, but still a good photo because you've got the contrast between white and green which is balanced out nicely and you have lines going in opposite directions. Overall its still a great photo and you were able to capture alot of the elements and principles of art

there are a lot different types of photography in your gallery, flower-, ice- macros, landscapes, animal and even animal macros
itΒ΄s never wrong to try something you have never tried before, you will improve your skills on your your cam and general photography.
if you can do great landscapes, and think you can do great macros too, you will wonder 
i hope you get what iΒ΄m aiming for
