These look like they could come from a story book. How do you get the colors to pop out and feel like real fabric? Especially the blanket the sheeplady has?

it's just gouache on old bad paper. I think, the paper absorbed moisture very much and only the pigment remained on the surface, which gave such an invoice. no inventions
