Edward and Bella in their meadowI tried to recreate my "used-up palette experience' so I painted a random background of swathes and splotches of colour, then tried to find what it made me think of, drew some random lines, and ended up with a meadow, pine woods, mountains ranges and Edward and Bella
watercolours, outlines in black and brown ink, white gel pen, size 30 x 40 cm
My first experiment - just painting on an old used-up palette to see what happened!

That's interesting, I wasn't going to use the white gel pen at all except to repaint the character's faces (since they were green becasue of the background!
