I don’t know if it’s up to her, I think it’d be up to me. But the answer is yes. You can. I actually had something where they’d meet up in a seedy bar on Nar Shaddaa during the Clone Wars to trade secrets or something and maybe just talk a little.
Then again, maybe that was, in my mind, the first time they’d met, and maybe Anakin didn’t know what to expect. Rose for her part might be a bit unfamiliar with the galaxy, but she might know enough to know that the Smugglers Moon is a pretty bad place to be, and probably wouldn’t tell pearl she was there.
Gems might be a relatively unknown sight in the galaxy, but I guess in such a hypothetical story they might not be entirely unknown, and maybe they’re trying to stake a claim in the galaxy as well, enemies to both the republic and the separatists alike.
Though why Rose would be there so far away from the earth and even in space so far away from earth in potentially hostile territory and even worse, possibly in or near the presence of gems that might know about her and know she’s still alive when the diamonds still hate her and don’t know the truth, why she’d be there in that galaxy if the gems are encroaching on the galaxy during such a time, well, I don’t know...
maybe she hoped to help the Jedi fight against the gems and maybe find a better solution to their own war against the droids and the Sith, but still seems like a big risk for her to take. And I’m not even sure how she’d get there without a warp pad or a ship, and those giant space legs have got to be pretty conspicuous, yet they’re the only way I know of that she could possibly leave the planet earth and go to that galaxy.
I guess I do wonder if the gems would have been to that galaxy long ago in this story, and had fought the ancestors of the Jedi and the Sith, known as the Je’daii, and had lost against them. A lot of planets in the galaxy are covered by crystal and have crystals in them, like Christophsis, Ilum, and Adega. perhaps the gems coming long ago could explain why those planets are like that. But why they never returned before the clone wars I don’t know either. It’s not like that was the first time the galaxy was divided by war and weakened by the conflict of light against dark.
Guess I don’t have all the answers, but if they had, I still think the Je’daii would have shattered some gems and used them to make the first lightsabers. Wether or not the Jedi and or Sith know that that’s how it happened and wether Anakin knows the truth or rose does, I’m not sure. It might make more sense if this was The first time the gems got to that galaxy and were looking to colonize some planets there. I don’t know.
Anyway, all of this is just optional. You could make something entirely different from all of this and it’d be just fine. I’m just making some suggestions for how I see it, might help get your own creative juices flowing. Do with it what you will...

Maybe, in this or something else, Rose Quartz could be shown kissing Anakin, (they’re in Love in this version.) and she says that, if they’re gonna go any further, she wants to show him her real self. He says go ahead, and she shows that she’s really pink diamond, but he doesn’t care. And then they, uh, y’know... and that’s how Luke was made in this timeline!

I dunno, he does seem a little passive and just a rebel to authority for no good reason. But she might think he’s nice. She’d probably think that he’s the kind of person that the republic would be fighting to protect and help. (I dunno if she had any court musicians when she was queen of Naboo, but maybe if she did, Greg might like meeting them. Though they’re probably stuffy like most members of regality, not unlike pearl and the elite of homeworld. But maybe Greg could help them cut loose a bit, introduce them to rock n’ roll! Now that’d be cool! I imagine the Nabooan elite might not like it, but perhaps Anakin and Padmé might appreciate it.)

Who can say if they do know if they believe in an afterlife? (I don’t think she was, not exactly anyway...)
You think they’d really get along too? Like, do you think Anakin and Rose would be really good friends? (And if they do, I bet Anakin would become vader, right Before Rose becomes Steven, and that’d be another thing he’d have to deal with that his mom dealt with before!)

Clone Wars did a much better job of showing Anakin's character. A noble warrior with some intense beliefs in how to protect the galaxy and who deeply feared loosing those close to him. This reviewer can elaborate sfdebris.com/videos/animation/…

I'm more of a one shot guy complex stories are a bit too much.
Though now I am picturing Ahsoka and Amethyst having a intense staring contest, as Kenobi and Garnet look on with the "Of Course" responsible parent look. With Pearl and Padme having a civil that slowly turned into "Well Anakin/Rose did this amazing thing Competition. With a young Greg and Rex off to the side contemplating the weird worlds they are a part of.

Yeah. Guess I was just thinking more in the big picture way of thinking. Like, if they traveled to that galaxy for some reason, it'd probably be before they ever met Greg, and maybe they never even settled on earth after the rebellion at all perhaps, and just went around the universe finding other places that rose liked.
