I have a few Ship/shuttle-formers and Metrotitan characters with relationships with smaller normal mecha. This re-sparked their bunnies <3 thus thank you for that, and thank you for adding wonderful transformer fluff into the word!

I do too! either between different classes of Cybertronian, Metrotitans and average mech or even mini and a normal mech, the shuttles and tankers ^^ even that the mecha can be gentle with humans, or worker-Insecticons who can be as 'delicate' as humans.
Like I'm doing a thing with a friends help with all these BIG and HUGE miner class mechs, and interacting with a little old worker bug-girl in the end of her life, and she's small enough to barely take up the length of most of their arms, or hid under armor when younger.
Size scale is so much fun to mess with, more so with Cybertronians, as they come in all sorts of sizes- even the sparks!

yes, and even non-lover relationships as well. Like in my Level Workers stories, Blaster and Drift are best friends, and blaster is about six feet tall. ^^ its also fun sorting out what mechs can do to show different levels of affection with the size gap and day to day interactions, what wouldn't be tolerated at first then becomes the norm ^^!
