He's Quite a famous Mangaka.
His most popular works are Detective Conan and Magic Kaito. Rings any bells? ;D
My doujinshi is mostly based on Magic Kaito, but since the characters hijack Detective Conan I guess it doesn't make much difference. ^^

Actually I do understand people who find DC not interesting. After all it's always cases and cases and cases...
To be honest, at some point of the Manga I just stopped reading them. My brain started to work like a filter, only focusing on relationship developments of the main and minor characters
Oh, but I do take the time to read the entire deduction when a certain Kaitou Kid appears
