Okay, this is yet another doodle, but I'll explain it a tad. So I'm in AP U.S. History (I might have referred to it as APUSH before) and we just finished my favorite time period- the 1920's/1930's (in America, atleast). And now we are begining my other favorite time period- the 1940's/1950's! So I was simply doodling while watching one of my all-time favorite (war) movies, Saving Private Ryan (which I still and will forever proclaim was a valid studying utensil) and remebered a documentary/lecture we had a day or two before which showed how America picked itself up from the depression to join together and help build for the war (reluctantly, of course-Pearl Harbor is what really kickstarted all this). Basically, there were places like Mobile, Alabama that had such a great workforce (and so many workers on the account no one really had a job) that every 6 minutes (I think) they completely assembled a plane, boat, tank- you name it. And since I have a very large love of planes and a love of this time period even more so (though the two go hand in hand) I doodled up this girl (I actually doodled a lot of people for this particulaer time period, but they're mostly in my notes plus I'm planning on doing an actual quality piece of the sort in the very near future) So basically, this is a 1940-ish World War Two technician (in my mind, she builds planes...) yeah.... hope you enjoyed the brief history lesson!
