Description
A commission we did as drawing reference for our dear friend ~TJK-87 It's based on an old Finnish story, where a young, dance-loving maid died and her body was kept in a drying barn for three days before funeral. In the morning, the dead girl's funeral socks were dirty and worn, so a servant was commanded to watch the body the whole night. In the night, two devils came into the drying barn and they started to dance with the corpse. The servant was holding a rooster and he pricked it with a needle. The rooster screamed and the devils got scared and ran away because they thought it was morning.
The pictures only cover the dance, but we thought it was important to get the whole story. Sorry, the pictures are a little cluttered and the background is less than ideal. Hopefully they'll still be okay for drawing refrence (if not, Lizzie and Kat are willing to give it another try). Really hope you can use some of these, Tero
