Finally I’m able to upload this! commissioned this shoot last Easter, then it took a small eternity to get it done, then another small eternity to get around to uploading it. So sorry for the long wait, Alastair! Although this was originally a commission, something very wrong happened with the lighting that made some of the pictures very overexposed, so I decided he shouldn’t have to pay for them. We’re still open to try doing the shoot again sometime, if we have the opportunity. I hope you’ll like at least some of the pictures, Al, even though they’re not as good as they might have been

So, for the story:
A peasant girl is out in the forest gathering plushies (because that’s what happens when you tell Lizzie she’s collecting “nuts/berries/small animals/the Holy Grail/whatever” Trust me, if we’d had anything that remotely resembled a Grail…) She haplessly steps on a hunter’s snare and her ankle is caught. She struggles to free her foot, making enough noise to attract the hunter. He is furious with her for ruining his trap and chastises her for trundling along through the forest without looking where she’s going. Once he’s done yelling and his anger has cooled, he releases her from the trap and helps her up. To his surprise, she’s unfazed by his speech and hugs him happily. Then she gives him one of her plushies and happily skips on her way, heading for new dangers.
