I am not that great at critiquing, but I LOVE your work, so I'm going to give it a try. The first thing I noticed, was the beautiful location. I love that it lacks full color and love the hue that was used. I also love how the hill falls right into the ocean. The sun setting in the distance just add that extra beauty to the composition. This photo looks so peaceful and I would love to visit and just sit and enjoy the beauty. Overall, I think it's a stunning piece of work. BTW, The Goonies is still one of my favorite movies!
And keep creating! You will just get better and better! You have a great vision and talent-don't waste it. You will end up being an amazing artist, I just know it.

Thank you so much! I really lucked out on this shot. I almost didn't even get this little slice of golden hour heaven. It was an abrupt stop on a long trip for that day. It was quite beautiful spot because you get the calm water of the Russian River spill out into the Pacific. The coastal rocks remind me of the movie "The Goonies" I think I had that shot from the film in mind when I took this. I wanted it to almost mystical and alluring. Like you are about to begin an adventure. Thank you again so much for your kind and inspiring words. It's always nice when someone appreciates something another creates. It just makes me want to work that much harder to create things other people can enjoy.

This honestly looks like a great spot for taking photographs. I see the sun starting to set, cattails or some other weed growing along the coast, pretty green grass, a nice mountain topped with grass, calm water and rocks in the background. I would like to visit this area and I could just picture a romance film starring someone like Keanu Reeves or Russell Brand and Anne Hathaway or Amy Adams as their leading lady ending their film with a kiss fading to black. Sounds like a great idea, but not really sure who would direct it. Overall this is a great photo.

Thank you! I am happy that you do! I am actually amazed at how this turned out. I have tons and tons of photos that I have to go through and unfortunately this one escaped my attention for quite a while. I remember taking these series of shots though. I was reminded of "The Goonies" movie. I just thought I want these shots to look like the beginning of an adventure. Something mystical. I wanted it to pull viewers imagination forward.
