oh my god. i'm afraid i can't help but love it. the expression is great. he looks both terrifying and surprised. love what you did with the bat symbol on his chest. genius.

i wouldn't mind the color at the bottom being more decisively dark though. i think a solid dark color could really work well. it'd stress the design more, and wouldn't draw so much attention to the bottom of the image.
overall i'd say it's definately a success. nice texture as well, by the by
