I recently discovered a new anime series called "Beastars" and, let me tell ya, I love it! Many call it the adult version of Zootopia with themes like violence, cannibalism, self-harm, and sex and I can definitely see where they're coming from. I've seen all of the season 1 episodes and have read the manga, so if you like craziness filled with fighting, romance, and dark drama, then this is definitely something to check out. Then again, if you aren't a furry (or a fan of anthropomorphic animals), then you might not like it. Eh, to each their own.

Anyway, I decided to try my luck at drawing these characters and took two of my favorites: Juno (the female gray wolf) and Louis (the male red deer). It's a sadder image what with Juno's character passing away and being reunited with Louis in the afterlife, but I wanted to draw him in his 'Reaper' garb that he wears in the show, so what better way to do that than by having him visit her as said character?

I won't be doing much of "Beastars", but I do have one or two more that I'd like to finish. It's really just an excuse to work on drawing human-like anatomy (which is something I tend to struggle with), but with this one I felt oddly at ease sketching it out. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!
