Description Dear Live-Love-Writers,

It's time to begin our new program! Get ready for our first Dodecathlon contest!

Theme

Letters


Deadline

November 8th


Rules & Regulations

*Entries must be submitted only to the Dodecathlon contest folder . If you submit your entry to another folder, we will not be able to accept your entry twice. A submission to the contest folder will not count towards your weekly limit.

*Both poetry and prose are accepted.

*There is no word limit, maximum or minimum.

*You must be a member of Live-Love-Write to participate.

*We prefer your entries be newly written for this contest. Entries written up to one month ago will be accepted.

*Please include "for the Live-Love-Write contest" in some form in your Artist's Comments. Entries without this info may be denied.

*Mature content is allowed, but must have the appropriate filter and be tasteful.

*All submissions must comply with deviantART rules.

*We encourage, nay, implore you to interpret the theme as creatively and wildly as you can. That being said, anything with "Houston, we have a problem" will be met with long-suffering groans.

Hey there. I understand the theme to be letters, and we're supposed to be interpreting it creatively. 
But I'm lost about what Houston and Cape Canaveral having problems is supposed to have to do with anything. :/

I'm sorry about that, it's just a silly joke. I see so many contest entries for other things using "Houston, we have a problem" as a catchphrase that it's become an inside joke. It has nothing to do with the contest, please disregard!

prose or poetry and it can be taken in different ways right? like letters has a couple of different means so it is not just like kahjfkashdlfa or like physical letters or can it be text messages?

Yes, both poetry and prose will be accepted. And you are free to interpret 'letters' in any way you want. All of your examples would be perfectly acceptable.
